  • Fixed a bug where the "stage" of a player mine room was always 1 lower than it should be, after stage 1. -- Jirato 15:33, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Disregard the previous devlog entry. (I really need to make a system for removing these.) -- Jirato 15:33, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
  • It is now possible to DIG to reinforce mines up to 274 progress points, so that mine stage 10 (Reinforced Mine Shaft) is no longer only at a perfect 250 and instantly downgraded any time there is a cavein or a tick in the decay loop. -- Jirato 15:28, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Tarueka Environs, Tarueka Town, and the Abandoned Farm are now slightly warmer to accomodate longer periods of infested-hunting in the fall season. -- Jirato 14:32, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
  • The penalty to used to determine odds of cave-ins or gas-leaks in a player mine is now based off the distance the mine room is from the entrance rather than the total rooms in the mine. -- Jirato 11:48, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Minerals in player mine room are now exhaustible, with increased scarcity the deeper into the mine you dig. Though, trust me, it's still a LOT and will likely take months of multiple people mining non-stop to exhaust a single room. -- Jirato 01:08, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
  • The maximum number of minerals in player mines will now consistently be 6, rather than starting at 6 and then changing to 5 once you start mining. -- Jirato 01:08, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Fixed the text when attempting to DIG in a fully reinforced mine entrance (which incorrectly indicated you could MINE there). -- Jirato 01:08, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
  • The availability and distribution of minerals in player mines is now based off where the room is located based off the distance to the entrance, rather than the total number of rooms in a mine. -- Jirato 01:05, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Fixed red error text when attempting to MINE in a room that has not been dug out enough. -- Jirato 14:00, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Mine rooms now use an x,y coordinate system. Meaning it is possible to dig intersecting tunnels. For example, from the mine entry if you dig east, north, and then southwest, you will find yourself back at the mine entry. -- Jirato 13:30, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Mine rooms will no longer collapse when their mine progress reaches 0. -- Jirato 12:42, 2 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Updated link of MUSHClient Soundpack in HELP SOUNDPACK. Current link is https://www.dropbox.com/s/3m8qekhzsr67brr/clok.rar?dl=1 -- Jirato 23:31, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Updated link of VIPMud Soundpack in HELP SOUNDPACK. Current link is https://www.dropbox.com/s/71ua59l3ri29e4u/clok%20soundpack%20VIP.zip?dl=1 -- Jirato 23:19, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Unfortunately, removed the links to the soundpacks located in HELP SOUNDPACK, as both dropbox links were invalid. -- Jirato 22:56, 1 October 2017 (UTC)
  • The front gate to Tarueka that I decided to make iron-reinforced on a whim last year has been changed to a bronze-reinforced gate because I didn't really consider the mechanical implications making a gate iron would involve. -- Jirato 11:55, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Updated the GURU command again to reflect our newest Event Staff member. Everyone please give a warm welcome to Elyria! -- Jirato 22:42, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Increased the deccay rate of temporary mine event room to better match the fact that the mine decay timer only runs four times a day instead of every hour. -- Jirato 13:37, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Fixed a bug that was causing multiple mine supports to decay at once in the same room. Now only the last support in the room will decay. -- Jirato 13:26, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Being prevented from digging due to lack of mine supports will now properly stop auto-digging. -- Jirato 20:58, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
  • After being told by the GM team what actually goes into making mine supports and how annoying they are, correction to the previous entry: You will need 1 support to dig beyond stage 7 ("Large Mine Shaft), and 2 supports to dig beyond stage 9 ("Well-Kept Mine Shaft"). -- Jirato 19:47, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
  • It is no longer possible to DIG to reinforce a personal mine beyond "Rough Shaft" without at least one mine support, beyond "Mine Shaft" without at least two mine supports, beyond "Large Mine Shaft" without three mine supports, and beyond "Well-Kept Mine Shaft" without at least four mine supports. -- Jirato 19:36, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
  • It is no longer possible to BUILD mine supports in a personal mine room until it is at least dug out to progress stage 6 ("Rough Mine Shaft"). -- Jirato 19:20, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
  • The MINE command is no longer usable inside a personal mine room until it is at least dug out to progress stage 5 ("Crude Mine Shaft"). -- Jirato 19:13, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
  • The GURU command has been updated to reflect the current GM roster. Welcome back Lassyn! And welcome to the team, Mirazia! -- Jirato 15:04, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Fixed a bug where mining skill gains less than 0.005 would not properly be counted. -- Jirato 14:23, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
  • The mining skill gain for digging to reinforce the interior of a personal mine has been adjusted to better match with the new changes to progress and number of dig attempts required to fully reinforce a room. -- Jirato 13:52, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Mine room names, descriptions, and 'nopets' tag (which disallows/allows mounts) will now be automatically updated any time mine progress is adjusted. This should fix the majority of mine bugs out there. -- Jirato 11:58, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
  • It is no longer possible to DIG to reinforce mine rooms beyond 250.0 progress. -- Jirato 11:56, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
  • It is no longer possible to DIG down in mines, as this conflicts with future plans for the mining system. If you have an existing mine with up/down exits, you may request an online GM delete and re-create the exits for you. -- Jirato 11:55, 27 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Additional dig progress bonuses will be granted at 1500, 2000, and 2500 mining skill (Maximum possible progress 1.0 for capped mining skill and all three mining abilities from Artisan guild). -- Jirato 12:53, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Certain milestones of mining skill (500, 1000) as well as the three Artisan mining abilities will again count towards bonus progress when digging a mine. (+0.1 progress per bonus, applied to a base of 0.2 progress for a maximum of 0.7 progress per dig attempt.) -- Jirato 12:45, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Fixed a bug where digging would not immediately stop when attempted in a cluttered (>25 items) room. -- Jirato 11:26, 26 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Fixed a typo that would set initial progress of freshly dug mines to 0,2 rather than 0.2. This is a retroactive change and should fix several broken mines out there. -- Jirato 15:46, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Mine claim stakes will no longer say "engaved" instead of "engraved" when placed via the CLAIM command. This is not a retroactive change, if your stake says "engaved", please BUG it while standing in the room with your placed stake. -- Jirato 20:12, 23 September 2017 (UTC)
  • Guest names for GM Test Characters will no longer show up on the WHO list. -- Jirato 15:08, 10 September 2017 (UTC)

This way is covers the same skill ranges of 1 though 500. -- Noctere 14:54, 29 April 2017 (PST)
  • The study books in the Elemancer's University have all been reassessed to work better with the current skill gain system. They now cover a lot more skill per book and are priced to be comparative with the cost of normal training plus an added fee for being able to train anywhere. (Much cheaper than before) Old textbooks can be traded in for new ones provided that the books sent cover the exact same skill ranges as the new by sending the old books via npcmail to "theelemancybookrepository" -- Noctere 14:17, 29 April 2017 (PST)
