Flip is an ability used by the Guild of Thieves and the Mummers.
By further honing her reflexes and balance, a thief can achieve a graceful jump-flip. Not only for pleasing onlookers, this ability can be useful for leaping away from danger and away to a safe distance, avoiding further attacks. In addition, two thieves who have mastered this technique can work together, one boosting the other up and over high objects or behind opponents to flank them.
A passive enhancement to tumble, granting a chance to flip instead of tumble, moving the thief into Ranged position and breaking combat engagement. The thief may also make use of the flip verb. The thief may simply perform a flip on their own this way, or the can boost another flip-trained thief in their group to put the other thief in a flanking position on a hostile. Will not work if you are encumbered by heavy armor or too much weight from your inventory.
Usage: The reactive effect is passive. To flip another person, flip [person]. If the person has a specified target already, they will land behind that target. If not, they will land behind the first hostile in the room. If there are no targets available, the person will simply be flipped, and bystanders are sure to be impressed nonetheless.
