Skins from wild animals can be processed and turned into leather to be used in Leatherworking.

Tools

  • A dagger of knife
  • A bottle of tanning solution
  • A tanning frame

Process

  • CLEAN your pelt. Success is dependent on your Skinning skill.
  • POUR the tanning solution onto the pelt. (Syntax: Pour bottle on pelt)
  • Put the pelt on the tanning rack.
  • TAN the pelt. Success is dependent on your Leatherworking skill.
  • TAN {pelt} {type}

Note: For {type} you have a choice of creating soft leather, rigid leather, or natural leather (fur).
