Cold

During Fall and Winter and even during the Spring and Summer for some areas, the Lost Lands can be a cold place, especially in the southeast and atop mountains. If going to explore a colder area, you will want to put on appropriate clothing or you will freeze to death. Freezing works as a gradual process and even if you're losing energy from environmental cold ticks, if you don't stay out long or find a fire, you will be fine regardless of not having very warm clothes. However, if you're hitting fifty or a hundred cold damage per tick from the weather, you will want to find a place to warm up immediately. Note that being drenched from rain or otherwise will only make the process of freezing to death quicker, regardless of your attire.

Finally, do remember that environmental cold works differently than cryomancy casts. Cryomancy attacks do actual limb damage, whereas environmental cold does not.
