Roundtime

Roundtime is a character stat that indicates a character is busy performing an action. Most commands that incur roundtime are not themselves available during roundtime. For instance: Climbing a steep path might incur 10 seconds of roundtime. During that time, other roundtime-incurring commands are not available - the character must wait until their roundtime is up before performing additional actions.

In addition to the above, a character's roundtime can also have the following effects:

  • Characters cannot move to another room during roundtime.
  • Energy regeneration does not occur during roundtime.
  • The likelihood of fending off an attack with a weapon's reach becomes less likely the higher one's roundtime is.
