Shadow Step

Shadow Step is an ability used by the Claw of Shar.

By utilizing their control of the nether, an assassin can control the very shadows of the area. This allows them to create an illusion that they are moving about the area almost instantly. However, perceptive opponents may still be able to separate the illusion from reality.

This ability can be used offensively, to press an opponent who is trying to avoid combat, or defensively, when an escape from combat is necessary to slip back into the shadows. (

Shadow step allows the assassin to use an illusion to move in and out of combat. This can be used offensively to move closer to a target and press them, preventing escape temporarily. It can also be utilized defensively to fall back to the ranged or avoid combat positions. An assassin must have Shadow Cloak active and be actively channeling sorcery in order for this ability to function.
