Occult Proficiency is a character stat that is simply the sum of all a character's occult skills (Aeromancy, Druidry, Sorcery, etc.) and is used to determine eligibility for learning some abilities, such as Quickchannel Adept and Quickchannel Master.

A character's occult proficiency rating can be viewed in the output of the OCCULT command.
