World
Towns
Five major towns exist in the game. These are Shadgard, Mistral Lake, Haiban, Valeria, and Corvus Outpost; with only Shadgard, Haiban, and Mistral Lake available as starting points.
Mistral Lake is decidedly neutral, and offers a number of resources for starting players. The eternal fog provides a bit of a foreboding vibe, which provides the town with a rich rumor mill, and sometimes just a little creepy is just what a player needs to feel at home.
Shadgard is the quintessential frontier mining town. There's quite a number of resources for players to start here. It's copper mines provide the town with a steady supply of copper and bronze.
Haiban is the headquarters of the Western Coalition, recently rebuilt after a large fire engulfed their previous outpost. The city, a testament to the Coalition's skill and expertise, is located on the western side of Ebon Pass with sections on either side of the river. Being such a center of fine craftsman, almost anything can be found within it's walls.
Corvus Outpost acts as a safe haven for those who don't quite fit the societal norms. Most view any residence with a bad stigma of being murderers, thieves, or crazed sorcerers. Most residents of Shadgard view them as a threat and are constantly tense for attack. Individuals who want to align themselves with Corvus will have to figure out how to do so in-character.
Valeria was only recently rebuilt and garrisoned by Viali troops who came to the Lost Lands to deal with the threat of the warlock Sceptus Corvus - being a military installment, it is not open to the public.
Hamlets
A number of smaller hamlets exist spread throughout the wilderness. They are shown on the map and provide a variety of different services, but lack the safety of a major town.
Other
While not exactly towns or hamlets, the Tse Gaiyan Chapterhouse must be found IC while the Western Coalition Headquarters is on the western side of Ebon Pass.
