Combat Strategies

Tactics are a choice that characters have in combat. There are a number of different tactics and to change your current tactic, simply type TACTIC followed by your choice.

Tactics

• Block - you will focus on blocking. Your offense will be severely penalized and you will have no parry or dodge roll.

• Dodge - you will focus on dodging. Your offense will be severely penalized and you will have no parry or block roll. You also will not be able to attack with your off hand weapon due to focusing on defense.

• None - no focus, your normal attack and defense rolls.

• Offense - you are focusing on offense and your defensive rolls will be severely penalized (dodge, block, and parry).

• Parry - you will focus on parrying. Your offense will be severely penalized and you will have no dodge or block roll. You also will not be able to attack with your off hand weapon due to focusing on defense

• Dirty Fighting- No focus on defense or offense but with chance of using one of your known dirty tricks at random

• Swashbuckling - No focus on defense or offense but with a chance using Melee: Disarm or Melee: Feint at random.
