Getting training for a skill doubles the amount of skillgain and raises the skill by one level.
You can find NPC trainers in cities and guilds. They take a certain amount of riln for their service. Player with a skill level higher than yours can also train you, using the teach command.
Befor you can train the trained skill again, you have to wait 24 in-game hours or until you gain 2.5 unmodified points' worth of skillgain, whichever comes first.
The limit of skills you can train simultanously is three. If you don't want to finish studying a skill, you can abandon the training. Howewer, you can't study the same skill again untill you reached the 2.5 points unmodified skillgain.
