Clothing
There are many articles of clothing one can wear in CLOK, lots of them offering differing levels of warmth and utility. Wearing any type of belt, for example, allows you to wear contains on it such as scabbards or belt pouches, though you do have a limited amount of space. You can also sling your satchel, pack, bow or shield over a shoulder if you have enough room free by using the same command.
Clothing and Warmth
In the Winter and Fall, areas of the region the game takes place in grow far colder and you can potentially freeze to death if you don't don some heavier clothes. Clothing made from wool, fur, flannel, fleece, tweed, and sheepskin will provide extra warmth while clothing made from silk, satin, and linen will not offer much warmth at all. Cotton and leather are middle ground for warmth and some leather armor over your winter clothes will add to warmth decently. Use the warmth
command to check your resilience to cold and how well your current attire is helping you.
Hoods, Masks and Helms
Headgear can both protect you from damage and, if made out of waterproofed material such as oilcloth, protect you from rain. Note that some robes and some cloaks do not offer large or deep enough hoods to hide your eyes and that all greathelms will hide your entire head, while some masks may hide your lower face or sometimes all of your face. Hooded robes may have their hoods raised with the pull robe
command. You can also pull
a handkerchief to turn it into a mask for your lower face.
Hiding Jewelry
Your psychic network pendant can be annoying to always have show up in your description sometimes and may be hidden underneath clothing such as shirts or robes. To do so, you must use the pull
command on the item, such as pull pendant
to hide it and then again to reveal it. Key rings, talismans and lanyards can also be hidden in this way, however actual finger-set rings cannot be unless you put on a pair of finger-covering gloves of some kind. Gauntlets work too.
