Roleplay is encouraged and enforced in CLOK. GMs will frequently hand out RPAs (Roleplaying Awards), which grant increased skill gains, for good roleplay. There are a number of roleplay tips which can be found in game using help rp guide. If you're interested in learning about player characters, help pcs will teach you about them.
Because roleplay is so vital to the game, we encourage players to put thought and effort into their character. Backstories are accepted, desired, and (sometimes) accommodated with items or distinguishing features like scars.
