Firestones are a tool used to produce sparks and light fires. They can be found at most any general store.
Examine:
You carefully examine some firestones...
Two chunks of firestone that can be struck together to produce sparks and light fires.
It is a tiny item, mainly made of firestone.
It could be used to light applicable items on fire.
Usage Syntax: light <item>
Note that the firestones do not need to be held in hand, but can simply be in an open worn container, such as a backpack or belt pouch. A hand will need to be free in order to temporarily retrieve the firestones, however.
