With enough understanding of sorcery, a Rook can concentrate his will in a manner similar to a Shadow Familiar and infuse that will into an existing creature of nether, causing the nether- creature to be loyal to the Rook; at least for a short time.
Cause a nethrim to become your temporary ally.
