Getting training for a skill doubles the amount of skillgain and raises the skill by one level.

You can find NPC trainers in cities and guilds. They generally require a certain amount of riln for their service, although some in guilds will take recognition points. Player with a skill level higher than yours can also train you, using the teach command.

Before you can train the trained skill again, you have to wait 24 in-game hours or until you gain 2.5 unmodified points' worth of skillgain, whichever comes first.
