Soul Purity is something rumored to be the opposite of an affliction.

Instead of someone delving too far into mysteries and becoming tainted, a very devoted and good person could potentially make choices which would strengthen their inner light, and protect them further from the nether taint.

Not much is known regarding soul purity, or its benefits.
