Shadow Martyr is an ability used by sorcerers of Rook Parlour.
With this ritual, the sorcerer draws upon soul shreds stored within a Blood Talisman and commands them to protect the sorcerer. With a small infusion of nether, the soul shreds have enough form to partially absorb most any kind of damage the sorcerer might suffer.
This spell grants the sorcerer damage reduction for as long as the spell lasts. The spell requires an active sorcery channel to maintain, as well as a non-empty worn or held blood talisman. One soul shred is spent upon casting, as well as an additional soul shred for each deflected blow.
