Shadow Step is an ability used by the Claw of Shar.
By utilizing their control of the nether, an assassin can control the very shadows of the area. This allows them to create an illusion that they are moving about the area almost instantly. However, perceptive opponents may still be able to separate the illusion from reality.
This ability can be used offensively, to press an opponent who is trying to avoid combat, or defensively, when an escape from combat is necessary to slip back into the shadows.
