Shadow Martyr is an ability used by Sorcerers.
With this ritual, the sorcerer draws upon soul shreds stored within a Blood Talisman and commands them to protect the sorcerer. With a small infusion of nether, the soul shreds have enough form to partially absorb most any kind of damage the sorcerer might suffer.
This spell grants the sorcerer damage reduction for as long as the spell lasts. The duration is extremely long and does not require active channeling, but each absorbed blow damages the soul shreds, and they will disperse when damaged beyond their maximum durability. The spell can be re-cast while already active in order to bolster the durability.
