it seems that ultimately, you have outlined my concerns quicker than I could take the time to write them down, rias.
I have felt the same in various situations, as well. when is my character's time to shine, if someone else can be better, or arguabbly even more versed due to actually having the time ...

I do like hte idea of having a boost in defense skills while training, yes. logically, I htink so, at least, everyone attempts to avoid as much damage as possible. I think it makes sense from a rp point, as well. who would wish to intentionally get hit to learn something? :D

The reason I set it up with a different command is because having DROP only work with held items is kind of a safeguard, and MY is just a general specifier that can be used anywhere.

In regard to flip flank-- that duelists and nightblades get with flip-- I don't believe it's currently set up to function as intended. I can still do performance flips, but I don't believe I can flip into the flanking position as of yet. this would be neat to see, when possible.
