so after some slight experimenting and questions, I have discovered that it is possible, if you see someone who is already hidden in the room, to use the sayto syntax with them. in this case, the other player, who does not see the hidden chaacter or has not found them, sees the name of the hidden character when the other person talks to them.
character wise, this is understandable and realistic
as a player, though, you automatically know the name of the hidden person.
I would make a suggestion to change this somehow to prevent any kind of metagaming which could arise from this. I have not seen it happening yet, but I think it's better to be safe than sorry!
maybe changing it to display speaking to someone would be good? that could help in a more crowded room when you want to target that person and let them know that you are talking with them? instead of disallowing this feature entirely.
