Dropping a quick gracias to some fellow lowlifes who took the time to stop and talk and hang out with me when they saw me, and got me caught up on some recent events. It was a little thing, but it left me wanting to log in more often.
ask jes for date
The horse thief Jessie doesn't seem too interested in talking about that.

I just wanted to give a huge shout out to everyone for this last weekend. Holy. He'll. I need a drink to recuperate from all of it. Maybe a vacation.

No, seriously. You guys are amazing. Each and every one of your bring something to the table. I missed the snow patrol, but got to see logs of it and just. Wow.

And staff. *chef's kiss* That you guys find time out of your schedules, especially this time of year, to light things up for is just phenomenal. Thank you from the bottom of my heart (assuming you can find it).

That's it. Keep it up, each and every one of you.

P.S. - Relax, take a break and grind. Next party is in 5 days!
A shadowy wolf with luminous blue eyes emerges from the edge of the redwood grove, its stance and gait non-aggressive. Maintaining several yards distance, it sits. Several others begin to emerge from various points in the foliage around you, causing you to realize you have been surrounded. The first wolf stares at Vighon for many long moments, unmoving and unblinking, as the surrounding wolves remain still. Then the first wolf stands, turns, and heads back into the redwood grove. The surrounding wolves disappear back into the surroundings.

I am not one to make things public unless necessary, so apologies for filling this thread with something not as important, I think, like all the awesome shout outs to everyone else :)
there are very few people I have engaged into roleplay these days, with whom I have left threads hanging for a bigger tapestry. it is not my style to do so, but this shall be, hopefully, my first and last exception. I unfortunately do not know contact details for all of them, and neither wish to dig around and barge into their personal message imbox and speak about taking a break, so, if you are reading this and have been roleplaying with me for some time, worry not! I will be, hopefully, back soon enough.
to everyone else I have hard about and yet not met, I am certain you are awesome! clok has been a wonderful haven for me these weeks, and every one of you made the lost lands feel like i have found an awesome place, instead. All the little messages on the network, all the little hints and interactions, all of them made this wonderful world feel alive in a few thousand ways I can not even list here.
With this being said, I somehow ended making this longer than I have wanted to, I'm pulling the curtains for a while. freshen the costumes, tighten the seams, paint the masks and all that jazz, in hopes of coming back on the stage once again.
keep clok-ing, everyone!

OH HO HO. It is once again that time.

I haven't even had that much time to play recently. But I had a smidge today, and what a smidge it was.

If I have RP'd with you recently-- You are awesome.

Even if I have not RP'D with you recently, you are still awesome, because by the look of the boards, and the sound of the network, and the buzz going about the town IC-- there's stuff happening, there's people doing things, and things are looking LIVELY.

It's not just that, though. the ATMOSPHERE. I LOVE THE ATMOSPHERE. Things are TENSE. Things are HEAVY. Things are GRITTY. The snow is falling, the fuel is burning, and the mouths are getting hungry. People are getting crankier and crankier as it continues to pile up and up and up. It makes me eager to see what comes next. How much harder it's going to hit. What it's going to take to lean on each other to get through it.

Especially-- I look forward to seeing how desperate we all get to solve this crisis somehow as the price of maintaining wind continues to rise.

Players: WOO!

Staff: WOO!

Lastly, a few gentle words of advice to continue urging you all onward in your fantastic RP:

1. Don't be afraid. If you're feeling hesitant to pull the trigger on something. PULL IT! The worst that happens is it doesn't go as planned, and you've got some RP to run with as a result.

2. dig into it! Think hard about your character. How would you feel in this situation? In the snow? In Shadgard, as it fills up with more and more people, and the supplies get scarcer and scarcer? How would you react? Now-- take all of the things you think about, and square them from your character's shoes. How do you think it feels to be them?

3. Don't be afraid to try and gather groups for what you're doing! -WHATEVER- you are doing! The more, the merrier. People like crafting together, people like gathering together, and people like just hanging around together, too. Not just fighting together! But fighting together too! Don't be afraid to group up and try to swing above your capabilities!

4. Be daring! Be sneaky! Ask hard questions! Talk to questionable people! Explain yourself! Don't be afraid to break the rules in town if you feel like it's worth your while!

5. And most importantly, when it starts to get overwhelming, or too much, or it isn't fun anymore, or things don't go your way. Don't be afraid to step back, take a breath, and come back when you're level. Don't be afraid to communicate that things aren't fun anymore. Don't be afraid to do what you have to for yourself to have the most fun, and the most comfort you can have having that fun. Things can be tense. Things can be high-energy. The emotions can run thick between characters. It's totally okay to step back, exhale, and chill out for a minute before coming back at it.

BONUS: at the end of the day, we're all still friends here. We're all trying to do the same thing, and have that same fun in our own ways. Don't forget that!

Thank you all for continuing to be fantastic. Thank you for making me want to keep coming back here. Here's to more and more fun as time continues onward.
You declaratively shout, "frack Corvus. Support Shadgardians."
Zeldryn nods simply, that said, folding his arms back beneath a striated fiery-orange wool poncho.
Several townsfolk cheer in response to Zeldryn's shout!

I did not want to make a separate topic for this, and thought this would be a good topic to give some more shoutouts!
this day was a full packed one for me and my character. full of surprises and roleplay I did not expect in the slightest
I want to praise everyone I have seen around or heard around in game recently. small or big, I have witnessed lots of interesting interactions! it is so fulfilling to see each story unfold and every character I meet develop further from an external point of view.
in regards to this day, however, I will have to remain slightly misterious and just say ahuge you are amazing to everyone involved! Thank you for offering me such a huge dose of enjoyment and providing me with furhter motivation to do what I am doing. I am wordless, amazed, and overjoyed.
you all were simply amazing, each of you!
