Fixing the constant fixing of broken bones

Post by Southpaw »

The character I'm working on right now wears light armor and I've been training in places that *should* be right at their skill level. I've noticed over the last few days though that I spend way more time waiting for minor fractures to heal than I do actually training. One little bonk with a shield and, armor or no, something breaks. I usually have to mend four or five bones before I can get through a single round of weapon training.
Might just be me, but I'd love to see the damage threshold for broken limbs raised somewhat. Especially for armored individuals. This would prevent the hassle of riding across the map to have a mob bonk you once and send you back for the comparatively long wait time for fractures to heal. Maybe the level of armor could make that fracture point higher as well. This would also make it more difficult for PC's to break mob limbs and take advantage of it as well.
I'd find it less frustrating if fractures didn't take sooo long to heal but I can get behind it for being kind of realistic but I do wonder if we could get some stronger bones.
Anyway! I would love to hear what others think about this.
