Church Supply Requests

This is a thread for suggestions or ideas regarding what's offered in the Church supply shop. Since we don't generally make riln performing our tasks, it would be nice to get some day-to-day things we use covered by the guild in addition to what's already provided. Obviously none of these are essential or necessary and could easily be purchased as they currently are, but they would be quality of life updates for Church members.

Here's a list of things I noticed to start with:

Untreated bandages
Cloths (for poultices)
Mortar and pestle
Various weapon-type containers
Firestones - for the candles we currently have
Mugs/tankards

Some sort of satchel/bag/pouch. I don't remember seeing one down there.

Can we get network crystals added in here? I haz no money. Also, the only shield currently offered is a wooden round shield - which is great don't get me wrong - but they are also very easily broken by nethrim. I go through 1/day while training and basically use it until it breaks then call it a day. Would it be possible to get other shield types added back to the armory even if they are wooden? Still also need a bunch of the other requested items too if they're considered doable for us. The firestones, bandages, weapon containers, and food/item containers would be amazing. I'd also like to request some type of woolen beanie or knit cap that can be worn under a helmet slot item (this generally available for anyone, not just the Church would be great) and that basic gloves can be worn under gauntlets.

Church armor/weapon repairs are also still not available and might be helpful.

I've added a haft-ring to the armory and a few more basic items to the supply store. No-go on the pendants, it's intentional that there aren't any shops selling them off-the-shelf so you'll have to be resourceful in acquiring replacements when you need them. I don't want to add additional types of shields until the various types are better differentiated, and the request for garments wearable under helms or gloves isn't particularly within the specialization or scope of the church supply store.

Thank you for the new supplies and reworked items. I have one small request: is it possible that we could get a belt that isn't leather? With the addition of the shoes and new haft ring, a rope belt or something similar should allow Church players to move away from leather "default" ( boot and belts being the most common of the bunch, I think? ) items entirely.

Much appreciated. I totally get it about the pendants and shields (for now). As for the garments, the slot stacking was the more important part, but since you've just added undergarments, perhaps tailoring will get a nice boost in recipes soon. Thanks again :)

On the subject of avoiding leather...

Slings. Maybe those are already in the church shop, not sure, but even if so is it possible to get an alternative to leather slings somewhere accessible to everyone until it's possible for players to make them? It's literally the only thing that Alia hasn't been able to substitute. Belts can be sewn, haft rings can be made/bought, but the only sling I can find is leather in the ranger lounge. Perhaps, a customization option for those?

I hate to make a request that, at the moment, would maybe only benefit one character, but it's been bugging me that the sling is the one thing she has to use leather for. And I know, using leather when there's no other alternative is acceptable, so if the answer is no I'll go with it. Figured I'd ask, though. And if they aren't already in the church shop, that might be a helpful addition too, maybe?
