I wonder if zeal should also force me into offense when used, as it's a boost to my melee, and the idea is that I am sort of mentally psyching myself for a battle i need to win, or thwart an evil that must be thwarted. that and it works very much alike several other abilities that it's been decided should force you into tactics offense.

Naw, I think it's fine as it is. Battlefury is an effective berserk state.
Zeal is more an ardent pursuit of accomplishing one's goals with gusto. Nothing quite as extreme as that.Battlefury wrote:You are filled with an intense desire to tear an opponent to pieces!
