Is it yoo-dem-ee? Oo-dem-ee? Same question for the U in "Utasa."

I've always imagined it as "yoo."

I've always thought of it as Oo-dem-ee and Oo-tasa.
Collins glances at a slimy big-lipped collinsfish.
Collins says, "Really..."
A slimy big-lipped collinsfish's mouth and gills gasp desperately for water as it lies helpless on the ground.

I've been pronouncing them both different... though now I realize the fallacy in that.

Oo-dem-ee and Yoo-tasa
