Constellations
Constellations
In a game I used to play, you could look at the sky at night and see what constellations were up there. I'd gladly help contribute some general ideas that could be adapted to whatever lore exists and add this feature to the game.
Whenever the pressure of our complex city life thins my blood and numbs my brain, I seek relief in the trail; and when I hear the coyote wailing to the yellow dawn, my cares fall from me - I am happy.

I always enjoyed this feature in Gemstone. It would be easy enough to put in and would add a lot to the overall feel as well as some lore with the constellations. Send us whatever you've got, player contributions make things much easier and quicker to implement!
[#GMCHAT] <Mirazia> I think you're enjoying this [mighty winter stuff] more than you realised
[#GMCHAT] <Rias> I AM AND IF THAT'S WRONG I DON'T WANT TO BE RIGHT

If it's ever possible to get lost in the wilderness somewhere, it would be cool if you could use the stars and other celestial bodies for astronavigation like sailors do. Base it on an astronomy skill, or an ability you can learn from a guild or a special faction.

LOOK SKY:
Shows you any moons/stars/planets that are currently visible. Leaves it open for the constellations discussed earlier.
Not only provides a look into the celestial objects visible at night, but provides you information with the general weather happening currently.
Sunny, overcast, slightly cloudy, partially cloudy, stormclouds (all these leave it open to all the different cloud types)
Light rain/snow, heavy rain/snow, hail, sleet
Breezy, light wind, heavy wind
Could play into the whole climate system.
