Ice Barbs works on armor

Ice Barbs can now be cast at armor to coat it in thick ice, temporarily increasing its damage reduction capabilities. This will not work on chain or brigandine armor types.

Not listed among the types it won't work on, ergo it will work.

Would it be possible for Ice barbs to work on shields?
