On Alternative Factions, CvC, and Evil Characters

For those characters actively trying to get into Shadgard's good graces, especially with the help of current citizens, is there any type of sign of progress that's been discussed amongst staff that can help players understand if they're on the right track or might be flat out denied forever? It can be discouraging to play for months trying to achieve a goal and not get any feedback at all as to whether or not opinions might be swaying one way or another. I'm asking for myself and others. I have an alt I'm pretty sure will never be let in and I can't actively play currently due to faction restrictions, so I can't really work towards her approval. But there are other characters also trying to get into Shadgard due to the overall sense of community, and without any way to proactively communicate with NPCs, it can be hard to judge if anything they're doing is making an impact.
