This is an old one, not sure if it got reported or just got lost in the shuffle.
Will bows/staffs auto repair when they reach a certain level of damage as described in the recent firearms thread?

Information on Stave to Staff:
Getting caught in melee can be a real danger to an archer. A master ranger of the past realized this, and designed a spell to assist his fellows
in such situations. By following the spell's pattern with your channeled will, you can re-shape a bow into a sturdy quarterstaff, shielding the
bowstring inside the staff itself. The spell also reverses this action, restoring a bow to its original form.
(Convert a bow into a staff or return a transmuted staff to its original bow form.)

You carefully examine a notched yew bow...
The yew that makes up this bow has been carefully oiled and polished. The weapon has scars and notches but the slight defects only seem to add

Re: Stave to Staff Bug
Oh, one more thing, long ago if you try to repair the staff while in staff form with druidry it lowers the quality of the bow. I haven't tried it recently though, too afraid to.
Re: Stave to Staff Bug
Couldn't you quickly carve up a bow to test it with? Carve one, turn it into a staff, go whack a few things with it, repair, turn it back, and see if the bow has been reduced in quality at all.
A scrawny alley cat stares after the dog with big green eyes.
Speaking to a scrawny alley cat, you ask, "Friend of yours?"
A scrawny alley cat hisses angrily.

Re: Stave to Staff Bug
This is a bug, and I know the cause. Just need to get around to fixing it.
The lore compels me!
Re: Stave to Staff Bug
Thanks for looking into it. Will the bows/staffs be destroyed if they get too damaged or do they reset?
