While the basics of sorcery are easily-learned, it takes greater understanding to recognize the potential for nether to sustain itself when provided with its own willpower or consciousness. With this knowledge, a sorcerer can infuse even the barest strands of nether with a negligible shred of her own consciousness, causing the nether to linger even after the sorcerer has stopped actively maintaining it.
Causes strikes from raw sorcery casts to splatter the target with nether, which will continue to eat away at the target over time before vanishing. Also a prerequisite for several further spells.
