Writing editor

Hello!

I don't see this on the trello board or in the list, so sorry if I've missed it somewhere.

I'd really like an ig writing editor for books, letters, etc. That way you can organize your story better. It would be wonderful for writing books, letters, newsletters, etc. I've seen it done elsewhere.

If it's possible it'd make writing stories a lot easier for my chara.

While not entirely impossible, this would be fairly hard with the way the server is currently set up. It would involve a pretty major rewrite to the line receiver that parses all incoming commands. while I'm not completely opposed to doing it, working on that stuff isnt easy.

I might play around with the idea a bit on another server I'm working on to see how well it can be done and then try to port it over, but that is going to be super low priority.

When I write stories and songs and such for in game, I organise the book and layout in notepad before adding it in game. Then I know roughly what my page/letter/book will look like before. It saves bad words being uttered when I miss a ^ :P
