A: No. I'm treating the time to build more like crop time than standard game time. It took a bit over a season.
Q: Where is <blank>?
A: Some things disappeared. Other things aren't rebuilt yet. Other things may or may not disappear.
Q: Why "Haiban?"
A: You should explore and try to figure that out ICly.

If it took a season to build, when did the fire happen IC? If it happened the other day, this makes no sense to me. If we are now roleplaying that it happened, say, in December or some other month, then that changes a lot of things. But to be completely honest, this seems very gamey and OOC. I guess it's no different than new areas being put in-game and admins telling the entire playerbase to act like they've always been there. But this, too, seems quite ridiculous. I'm not sure how to wrap my head around this one.

I'm not sure why it matters. Time in CLOK is for the most part, incredibly sped up. There are some cases where this isn't true (the weather), but in most cases, we greatly shorten the time it would actually take to do something.
Could you forge a sword in a few minutes? No. Could you make a wardrobe in a few minutes? No. Do crops grow in a matter of days? No. Can people travel a league in 5 seconds? No.
If none of those things bother you, and you're not worried about people traveling miles on a horse (or on foot!) in a matter of seconds or crops appearing before your eyes, I'm not sure why having an incredibly organized group of people with lots and lots of resources build part of a town in a few days would.

I don't have a question, but...
I saw two Amish guys build a whole barn (massive barn, not like a little back yard storage shed), by themselves, using nothing but hand tools. It took them two days.
