Ideas!!!

With the release of death mechanics there will be some people who will be harder to find or darn near impossible so I had an idea, feel free to critique or give ideas.

Since the Utasa can manipulate light in a way, a spell to infuse a crystal (or gem) with light and when a body dies the light wreaths the body and sends a light into the air. People around would see "a slender column of light around the area of (place)" that flashes maybe once every minute or so until the body is found.

Or...

Have monks and templar be able to bless a crystal (or gem) and when a person dies with the gem on them it would pull the body back to the sanctuary of the church.

I would have to think that the crystal would have to be worn somehow. Ideas?

Some kind of alert beacon upon death is something I've considered. The transportation of a body idea would be harder to make fly, though, as teleportation doesn't really exist in this world.

A Monk ability to sense where the dead but not departed currently are.

The others might be able to make something similar to the fog horn but only once, not repeatedly.

When the engineers come out..... A backpack that houses a weather balloon, homing beacon, and a fan. It lifts the body up, and floats it home!

I like the idea of being able to talk to the dead when channeling sorcery or something.

Maybe those with enough skill in druidry could do something to influence nearby animals to somehow get the attention of anyone in the area. I'm not sure if that would be possible while dead, but maybe any fauna nearby at the time of death could sense the loss of someone in tune with nature? It's a stretch, I know, but something like that would be interesting.

Hm, the dead using druidry seems out of tune to me. (I get the impression that the biggest reason we can use druidry is that we're almost animals.) Plus YOU try convincing a cat to not eat your corpse.
