Ability suggestion: Blood Shards

Post by Xzean »

By combining their knowledge of the nether and how it interacts with blood, a Rook can use his own blood to inflict the target's blood with a dangerous amount of nether. This ability requires the Rook to already be bleeding or it inflicts damage on the Rook. Several shards made from the Rook's blood fly at the target. These shards burrow into the body and do damage over time. This spell does more damage if the Rook is tainted by the nether, as his blood is already inherently tainted. (Alternatively being tainted could remove the bleeding or take a wound requirement).

Requirements: 200 Sorcery.

I think a pre-req for this (as silly as it seems since most Rooks at 200 sorcery should have it) should be Infused Nether.

That being said, I'd personally try to work cryomancy into this, since Nether is naturally a sort of liquid/gas mix. But infusing it with nether and then freezing the blood drops into harmful shards would be a good way for that to work I think.

Those actually both make a ton of sense, Kian. Thanks!
