Grapple
Grapple has been released for testing in a rather basic form.
Current information on grapple:
- You need at least 50 brawl skill to use this ability.
- It is based on the hand-to-hand combat system and requires at least some position, or other factors in order to obtain a bonus for a grapple to succeed.
- Wounds and certain effects such as being rooted provide a bonus.
- Hand-to-hand position greatly increases the bonus
- Attempting to grapple someone without factors to provide a bonus will fail.
- Mounted opponents can be grappled for a chance to dismount them!
- Offense is determined by your brawl and melee skill.
- Defense against grapple while mounted is based on riding, melee and brawl, otherwise it is based on dodge, melee and brawl.
- Currently a successful grapple will knock an opponent to the ground and do minor damage.
- A successfull grapple on an opponent who has hand-to-hand position on YOU will clear that opponent's position down to slight.
- Grapple does cause some RT based on success, but cannot be stacked as you cannot re-grapple someone already prone. (No stacking RT.)
This ability will be adjusted heavily, with additional effects and messaging added as time goes on.

If I didn't get an error message for grapple, I'd have got you at least once. Your luck won't last forever varmint! Yes...I said varmint.
