Rooks may now learn the Infused Nether ability.

The Pluginator should no longer remain active when using a client that doesn't support it.

More info added to the Pluginator, including: Under attack, current target, guild name/rank/promotion status, skill study info, and channeling only appears when channels are active (and now they're color-coded!).

The challenge formula for picking pockets has been fixed.

The challenge formula for picking locks has been fixed.

Tables sold at the Shadgard carpenter can now hold huge items. Pre-existing tables can be updated by asking a GM for assistance.

Thieves may now ask their guildmaster for tasks.

It should no longer be possible for monks to deflect missiles while unconscious, mesmerized, or frozen.

Several actions should now be prevented by mesmerization. Please report further anomolies via the bug command.

It should no longer be possible to flank a target more than once at a time, including via the Utasa "blink" spell.

Performing Dirty Tricks should now cause the character performing them to move to the Engage combat position.

It is now possible for Utasa to riposte with sabres.

It is no longer possible to ride mounts into the Shadgard Church.

It should no longer be possible to jab with full hands.

It should now be possible to jab from hiding.

clawing from hiding should now remove the attacker from hiding.

order now should now charge full price for filling drink holders.

Mounts should no longer move to defend themselves and attack after they've been defeated.

The bank at the University of Elemancy now functions as a post office as well.

Several actions are now prevented in the Mentor Lounge, in order to keep the place useful for its purpose - mentoring players. Combat and general goofing around can occur in the OOC area through the passage.

Infested raccoons and disfigured squirrels should now attack from hiding.

Hit locations have been fixed for infested raccoons, infested cats, and disfigured squirrels.

Infested cats and raccoons can now be skinned.

It is no longer possible for characters to whisper to themselves.

It is now possible to change tactics while rooted.

The enemies list should now function properly, causing characters and their minions to automatically target enemies when making hostile actions.

The armor command has been spiffed up.

The Mistral Lake and Corvus Outpost infirmaries now spawn wounded citizens that can be used for practicing with bandages or thaumaturgic healing.

There is now a small wait timer when removing tasks before you can ask for another.

A bug causing Thief's Eye to sometimes not work has been fixed.

Deer and stags on the Coalition reserve should now properly flee.

Wounded deer and stags should now fight back when desparate.

Several beasts can now be skinned for more than a single pelt.

The trader Jashon is now appropriately based on the Western Coalition faction.

Pheasants now have a real description. Rithiel never noticed.

It is now possible to knock on doors and other portals.

Stationary treasure boxes should now be properly despawning again when empty.

It is now possible to bandage without first manually getting a bandage out, as long as the character has a free hand and an open worn container with bandages in it. To use a specific bandage, use the manual method of geting the bandage first (for instance, to use a poultice-treated bandage rather than an untreated one).

Treasure boxes now have a chance to contain gems and a few other commodity items.

Getting thrown into another room should now remove the target from hiding.

It is no longer possible to climb anything with a challenge rating above 0 with full hands.

Edwena of the Mistral Lake chapter of Rook Parlour is now a taskmaster.

A bug making bandage challenges slightly harder than they should have been has been fixed.

Boar and mountain lions now produce multiple skins.

Boxfound gems should now be made of the appropriate material.

Gargantuan cave worms shouldn't randomly spawn in mines anymore - they're meant to be used in special events only.

Perishable items now disappear more quickly in markets.

Corn and turnip seeds are now available at the Shadgard General Store.

Produce prices have ben adjusted to take into account number of bites.

Ice Barbs now converts bludgeon damage to hack damage.

A loitering mummer at the Hearth and Home is now available to train people in the use of staffs.

Watering and harvesting crops now grants skillgain, though not as much as tilling and planting.

The menus at the Hearth and Home as well as the Twin Dagger have been expanded (thanks Zoiya!).

It should no longer be impossible to get an item from on top of a closed container (i.e. an item on top of a closed dresser).

The berserker Valkari can be found in the Vatnfjall fort near Mistral Lake, serving as a guild master, recruiter, trainer, and taskmaster for Dwaedn Wyr.

Brass and bronze market prices have been adjusted to prevent them from being a net loss.

Quadrupeds should now properly suffer dodge penalties when their legs or feet are injured.

Zoiya added the following to Mistral Lake:
- Horses/wagons (available for purchase in the stable yard.)
- Cobbler
- Clothier
- Bowyer
- Locksmith
- Tanner

Zoiya has added 2 homes to Shadgard.

Noctere has added a fishing spot in the Old Corvus Forest.

If a character's (Mining*.25)+(Logging*.25) (capped at 250 total) is greater than their Hafted skill, the first formula will be applied to attack calculations when wielding hafted weapons.

Dwaedn Wyr may now learn the Hallowed Burial ability.

There are now rivers in the wilderness, with bridges crossing them at certain points. These are indicated on in-game maps. Characters with sufficient swimming skill may attempt to swim across the rivers.

Characters can now fill applicable liquid containers at wilderness rooms with rivers in them.

There is now a small Wilderness Compass to help navigate the wilderness and help characters get their bearings. This can be disabled via options 12.

Udemi and Utasa can now receive tasks to cull numbers of infested in specific areas.

Templar can now receive tasks to cull numbers of nethrim in specific areas.

It is no longer possible to sell incomplete weapon pieces, such as hafts, to the market.

It is no longer possible for non-canim character to eat fish raw.

Those hostile with all major outposts will now respawn at Barrow Hill if they die and depart. It is possible to forage for food there.

Water elementals will now be defeated when their energy is lost, rather than falling unconscious.

Voulges should no longer cause a bug when wielded by a mercenary with Polearm Mastery.

The command queue should no longer be unable to find its target with verbs such as wear, drop, etc.

The healer Renee is now properly female, and the citizens within her infirmary are now aligned with the Western Coalition.

It is no longer possible to join someone who is hidden unless their hiding place is known to the joiner.

consume should no longer produce an error when a target cannot be found.

watering crops will now attempt to automatically fill a held watering tool if there is a water source nearby.

If a skill has been modified lower than 50% of a character's base skill, it is now considered too penalized and hampered to effectively gain any skill when practicing it.

Characters should now get credit for culling tasks as long as they have landed at least one hit on the critter, despite its ultimate cause of death, so long as the character is in the same room as the critter when it dies.

"Particularly Dangerous Critter" tasks will now spawn the target critter after a short time is spent in the critter's native area, and no longer requires killing critters of a similar type to spawn it.

Wanted posters are now being posted in the Shadgard Town Commons, listing currently wanted criminals.

Canteens can now be purcahsed in the Shadgard General Store.

Players may now use option 13 to toggle ANSI colored text on and off.

Tangle Root now causes hate on the target.

Hibernate now shows Offense vs Defense numbers, has an energy cost, and no longer works on unconscious targets.

Tangle Root and Hibernate now grant Druidry skillgain based on challenge.

Group follow messaging should be working again.

Hidden characters should no longer be seen when stowing items, unless the bystander is aware of the hidden character's hiding place.

Successfully cooking something now improves its quality rating, causing it to sell for a little more at the market. Expect the system and its numbers to be tweaked.

Spades carried by scarecrow farmers should now function as proper spades for digging.

Spirit Healing should now grant skillgain again.

The various wraiths within the Whispering Forest should now be defeated upon complete energy loss, rather than falling unconscious.

The various wraiths within the Whispering Forest should now be immune to several effects due to their now properly being classified as wraiths.

showing a closed container to someone should no longer show the container's contents.

It is now possible to intercept ranged attacks when guarding someone, though the guard will be completely unable to dodge such attacks. Shields are recommended.

Using order to buy a drink for a held drink container, then order confirm to confirm it (as opposed to order # now) will now appropriately set the drink price and number of ticks.

Attempting to look at something and accidentally adding a second argument, such as "look i nwagon", should no longer produce an error.

Infested cats no longer look like raccoons in their description.

Tridents now grant a slight parry bonus to the wielder.

Kite and tower shields in the Shadgard blacksmith should now properly display as "huge" items.

Blacksmithing now also figures into the alternate formula for hafted weapon accuracy.

It is now possible to use hydromancy aid to remove the "drenched" effect.

Aero Shield and Hydro Shield now reduce some incoming damage, hydro more than aero.

A bug preventing Hydro Shield from deflecting arrows has been fixed.

The dining hall at the University of Elemancy now serves some more excellent school-grade food.

Many markets now pay significantly less for commodities that can be found in or near their local area. Expect additional alterations and tweaks.

Unique tuning crystals have been added to the following guilds: Elemancers, Templar/Monk, Dwaedn Wyr, Rook Parlour

A bug in the Soul Harvest tasks for Rooks causing the target critters to not spawn has been fixed.

The sofas and stools in the Mistral Lake chapter of Rook Parlour can now seat multiple people.

It is now possible to mentor assist from within the University of Elemancy.

Various arrow slits/murder holes/tower windows/etc. now function with the fire command. A character may fire at one of these if there are any hostiles on the other side. Please post to report any instances of rooms where this functionality should be possible, but isn't.

Bloodhounds now have a more randomized appearance. They were jealous of the varhounds.

A constable now wanders about Shadgard, keeping an eye out for troublemakers.

Nether Vision should now properly refresh on subsequent casts, rather than stacking multiple duplicate effects, and should show its duration when checking effects.

It should no longer be possible for a character to perform several actions while suffocating, including speaking, shouting, roaring, chanting, and more.

Fishing rods now have a chance to have their lines snap. New fishing line can be purchased in the same shops that sell fishing poles.

It is now possible to spearfish with certain polearms, though it is significantly harder (roll-wise) than fishing with a line and pole.

Catching a fish now temporarily makes it slightly more rare to catch a fish in that same room.

The compass now shows ^, V, and * for up, down, and out, respectively.

Fraer root no longer weigh a whole pound.

The carve command should now automatically search inventory for and retrieve an appropriate carving tool.

It is now possible to get caught picking certain locks in justice-covered areas and charged with attempted burglary, if bystanders are aware of the lockpicker's actions.

Auto-lockpicking should be working again.

Shadow Familiars will now properly flee via the minion flee command.

Trees now grow in limited quantities, and regrow very slowly. The longer they grow, the taller they get (to a point).

Round shields are now available at the Templar Armory.

Firewood has been added - chop a log to make a split log, then add the split log to a present campfire.

Several sawmill bugs have been fixed.

Waybread no longer weighs a pound.

Stabling injured mounts now costs extra riln depending on the mount's wounds, and also causes as a wait time before the mount can be retrieved.

Entering a command with non-unicode characters should no longer produce an error, though the offending characters will be omitted.

All wraith-type creatures should now claw with nether-claws rather than normal claws.

The portal to Caldwell has been removed. An overland route will be opened eventually. Tasks will not be assigned in that area until it is re-opened. Note this was an OOC change. The portal was never technically there - it was only there as an OOC mechanism during alpha testing to check out the Caldwell area. Any characters who have been there can claim they have traveled there before, just not via the portal (as it never existed).

Poultices will now take the required materials.

More milling bugs have been fixed.

Rooks will no longer get tasks for critters that leave no corpse.

Trinkets can now be sold at markets and will no longer show up in the metal category.

A bug regarding consume was squashed.

Soundpulling has had its duration increased to 5 minutes.

Several NPC monks have been moved. See viewtopic.php?id=1665 for more information.

The Church facilities within Shadgard now sport a crypt. Stop leaving corpses in the Sanctuary or Sun Chamber, that's just gross!

The multiple messaging dragging bug should now be fixed.

Customized orders in guildpoint shops now properly show prices in guild points, rather than riln.

The Church facilities in Shadgard now have a mess hall where food can be purchased with guild points.

Astound, amaze, and possibly entertain your friends with flourish.

Ground medicinal herb tasks have been added for some guilds.

Infirmaries will now buy any poultice for 15 riln (the price will likely be adjusted later to reflect the quality of the herb).

Rook Parlour now gives medicinal herb tasks, as well as the new Soul Shreds and Nether Survey tasks.

It should no longer be possible to attempt to give an item to an NPC unless the item is a task item requested by the NPC, or the NPC is being controlled by a GM at the time.

Snapping a lockpick while auto-picking should now cancel auto-picking.

Gler the stable master has been added to the Corvus stable. He is a trainer for riding, whips and trapping.

The herbalist Horrus in Corvus is now willing to teach herbalism.

The master summoner Theron will now summon imps for members of Corvus. He is found in the summoning chamber.

An old channeling bugfix apparently didn't actually fix the issue - channeling while sitting down no longer nets skillgains. This is a band-aid fix until a better way is found to go about working channeling skillgains.

Attempting to case a mark will no longer set the mark as the character's target.

The cutthroat ability has had its damage increased, while the extra bleeding has been lowered, and has less chance to bypass neck armor.

When dual-wielding, the main weapon can now get multiple strikes (when wielding appropriate weapons) even when the off-hand fails to find an opening.

Characters will now receive a warning upon their first time (from this point forward) entering the wilderness regarding the dangers of fatigue and starvation when traveling the wilderness.

Bookstores have been added to Shadgard and Mistral Lake.

Going through a portal should no longer bypass law officers attempting to arrest a character.

Assassins may now learn the "Study and Mark" and "Assassinate" abilities.

Additional Shadow Orbs in a room beyond 1 will have no effect on the room lighting.

Training Warriors should now have wooden swords that really are made of wood, and not copper.

Following items such as Utasa's Beacons, Mage Candles, Shadow Orbs, etc. should no longer reveal their owner's identity if the owner is hidden.

Customizable paper has been added to all post offices.

Firewood store is now available outside Shadgard.

It is now possible to put filled drink holders onto items such as tables, desks, etc. without fear of spilling.

There is now a table and a bar in the Hearth and Home Inn on which meals, drinks, etc. can be placed.

It is know possible to knap the following from stone:
- knife
- hammerhead
- axehead

It is now possible to attach a stone weapon head with a carved haft.

The syntax required to knap stone into flakes for use in creating arrowheads is now knap flakes.

Quartz is now able to be used with knapping. This applies to new quartz from this point on - previously-existing quartz will not work.

It is now possible to mine for flint in certain places.

It is now possible to forage for chunks of flint in certain places. This depends on perception rather than herbalism to find.

A small storage-turned-stables room has been added to the temple in Thaelsh, for those who don't want to leave their mounts to do their business in the main rooms and corridors of the temple. Note it is simply a room to leave mounts, and does not function as a proper stables.

A bug when attempting to trace a leatherworking pattern has been squashed.

It is now possible for Rooks to harvest soul shreds while mounted.

Fear effects should no longer produce an error when there are no exits available for the target to flee to.

Fletching an arrow with feathers will now auto-remove a single group of fletchings from a bundle in a worn container.

It is now possible to swim in the lake at the Abandoned Farm.

Hillfolk with hairy feet will now have the messaging show up properly in their description. The hairy feet won't be apparent if the character is wearing socks or footwear.

A character not wearing anything on the legs will now have that fact be obvious to other players with a nice big (not wearing any pants) next to their name in the "also here:" list.

After some initial hilarity, any garment with "robe", "dress", or "gown" in the noun has been made to prevent (not wearing any pants). Please suggest any other garment not worn on the legs that should prevent the big pantsless alert.

When being let out of jail, if a character's faction is low enough to be hostile with that faction, the character will be let out in the wilderness and informed that they have been banished.

A character guarding someone should no longer be able to intercept their own attacks.

Critters should no longer keep firing at PCs who are dead.

Being dragged with ammunition lodged in one's body should no longer cause energy loss.

It is no longer possible to tumble away from an attack while mesmerized.

It should no longer be possible to use a water-filled item to refill itself.

Using incorrect syntax to hitch a mount to a wagon should now provide error messaging and a syntax example.

Unconscious creatures should no longer shake off certain effects, such as a dirtkick, until they wake up.

Spirit Healing should now remove the Cutthroat effect when healing the neck area.

It is no longer possible to survey while hiding.

Enough bad wounds on hands, arms, feet, and/or legs can now potentially prevent a character from being able to swim.

Several spells now have an active channel requirement.

It is no longer possible to chop or fell wood while mounted.

A character will no longer be charged with assault for successfuly sapping a target, unless there are bystanders present. If the location has a crowd rating, there will be a chance a bystander will observe the assault.

Death crit messaging should no longer display when the creature doesn't actually die.

Comfrey should no longer be extremely heavy (for a flower).

Foraging for something that isn't present in an area will now, at a certain roll threshold, give messaging that no evidence of it can be found there, and will stop auto-foraging.

The denizens of the Whispering Forest should no longer be so chummy with the Church of Light.

Powerful strikes to the legs or feet can now cause the target to fall over.

Foraged flint and mined quartz can now be used as knapping tools.

The elemancer "foggy air" combination should now add to the room's fog rating.

Due to increased security at seaports and the Quarantine Wall making smuggling more difficult, revolvers are now only available via the Guild of Thieves. Non-members can arrange with a member to purchase one on their behalf.

The hawthorn wand and staff sold in the University of Elemancy shop should now properly be attuned to the element of air. Please contact a GM if you need one fixed.

The lighting in the tunnels near the infested caravan no longer varies from complete darkness to brighter-than-noonday-sun.

A plaque with common alloy recipes has been added to the Mistral Lake workyard.

It is now possible to order multiple units of an item from a market and have them put in a wagon hitched to a horse owned by the buyer.

It is no longer possible to loot or bury corpses while under attack.

Grindable herbs now forage up as 'fresh' to help syntactically target them. The word 'fresh' is removed once they are ground.

Ground herbs that are of a quality between 'potent' and 'inferior' are now 'average', to help syntactically target them.

Poultice supplies and multiple colored bandages have been added to the Mistral Lake infirmary.

Mistral Lake now has its own colored tuning crystal at the Post Office.

The value of wood types across the board have been lowered. They had previously been based around the price of pine, which was for a long time the only wood type available, and there were no processing options to increase its value, and so its value was higher than we would have liked to make it viable until more trees were added.

There is now an initiation fee to join the University of Elemancy.

The Corvus Outpost Vault now functions as a registrar where one chan register items.

The account command is now live, and can be used for setting up shared bank accounts.

Stabled injured mounts now take the appropriate amount of time to heal.

Refill now works as an alias for fill.

Wounded patrollers and most stationary critters should now "run off to seek medical attention" when wounded, so long as no hostiles are around, and eventually respawn. Patrollers will only do this at the ends of their routes, so they don't abandon any joined travelers mid-route.

It is no longer possible to gain skills in the OOC area. Shame on those who abused the poor training dummy there.

The Mummers guild has been released for testing. Expect it to be somewhat unpolished and buggy.
