Guild Skills Update!

Post by Landion »

Several skill updates have been made to the Trade Coalition!

You may now apply guild promotions toward becoming an apprentice, journeyman and master of Mining, Logging, Farming and Fishing.

Currently only mining and logging have specific bonuses associated with the guild skills other than a flat skill increase, but more will be added for the other profession skills as these areas as updated and expanded.

Expect requirements and bonuses associated with these skills to be adjusted in the future as deemed necessary.

Enjoy!

I've now added Lapidary Mastery.

This functions much the same way as the other abilities, though it has a few more prerequisites.

Blacksmith Mastery is now available by speaking with Locke. Though, it does have a few prerequisites.

Mastery in this skill area is the most challenging to attain thus far.

Get to work!

Now that Leatherworking is released, Traders now have Leatherworking Specialization skills.

They work the same way as the others released with three tiers, leading up to master.

I also believe I fixed Swindle today, my apologies that it took so long. I had forgotten it was broken and distracted by all these other projects.

I added a new ability today called Shopkeeper.

It simply allows a Trader to have up to 40 items on a sales-cart instead of the normal limit of 20.

I may add other benefits to this as time goes on and as the current very crude sales-cart code is updated and adjusted.

And on a related note and after some discussions with the GM team, I've pulled the sales carts for the maintenance and system overhauls.

So... this system and ability will be changing a bunch. Sorry!

ANNOUNCEMENT: Octavia can sass sassy things now.

[CHAT - Kent the Shade Shatterer]: what do you mean, now?

[CHAT - Matilda]: Is that implying she couldn't before?
