Crosspost: Weapon Sheathes More Verbose

I would, honestly, like to request, if this were implemented, that it be done without maximum verbosity, i.e.:
an oiled white drakolin scale scabbard (open) holding a riversteel longsword.
Rather than:
an oiled white drakolin scale scabbard (open) holding a superior riversteel longsword with a burgundy-gold-inlaid hilt inscribed with water waves inset with a trilliant-cut dark aquamarine.
Obviously this is an extreme case. But despite advocating for longer descriptions, I would like to see them not be quite so verbose. This way things could stand out more, and we could have items in descriptions that spoke more, on their own. This might promote more sleeker inventories, where people try to make items say more per item, rather than stacking more in general, to say a lot, but from many sources. Not that that is a bad approach. Everyone does it different. I'm curious if other people have thoughts. I have a lot of thoughts about slimming down inventories in general, such as having sets of items that are similar that could be condensed into a single entry, but that is all not as important to me. This seems like something that wouldn't be an excessive amount of work, and would just be a neat little feature.
A man walking through stops to glare at Ceridwenn and says, "Hey, lady! Pack your things, I'm kickin' you outta town for the crime of putting your filthy boots up on the table like a heathen!" Someone from a nearby table then laughs, "Jord, stop being a jackwagon, they'd never let you wear a militia badge!" The first man then snickers and ambles, rather drunkenly it appears, to join his friend at the other table.

Per the changelog: When LOOKing at a character and seeing their inventory, weapon-holder containers of all types will now display a brief version of any contained weapons (previously only applied to haft-frogs and haft-rings).

In hindsight, I did say it like this, but I was wondering if there was any shot we could play with this a little? As of where it is, it shows like my post, but I realized... 'technically, the scabbard is seethrough, if I can see that it's a riversteel longsword'. That's a little weird. i"m not super aposed to it, but would it be possible to just show the hilt type, isntead? For more realism. Like 'a leather scabbard holding a riversteel-hilted longsword'? Thanks for the addition, either way, I'm a fan of it.

It was like that briefly, then updated to only show the item's material if it's in a haft-ring or haft-frog. The rest just show the noun, so it'd just show "a leather scabbard holding a longsword".
