Adrenaline rush oversights?

Given the description of the ability here are some knock downs that never trigger the adrenaline rush ability that i thought might be oversights.

knock downs from:
Shield charge.
War horse kicks.
War horse tramples

And some of the time knock downs from leg strikes won't trigger it either.

anyone know how much energy we're supposed to get back when adrenaline rush activates?
