being traced without being there

Post by Kakoon »

(energy -6)
You remove an arrow from your back quiver and nock it to your exquisite pine flatbow.
You fire an arrow at an infested carrier! (!) (R: 115 vs D:0)
52 pierce damage to the left eye!
An infested carrier has been defeated.

A burly infested carrier just arrived.

[That burly infested carrier looks like the one you've been tasked to hunt down!]

Roundtime: 6 seconds.

You notice a burly infested carrier trace the flight path of your arrow back to your hiding spot.

It didn't really make much sense to me that the burly carrier was able to trace the shot when it showed up after the arrow had hit the target and wasn't in flight.

Nope, doesn't make much sense at all. I'll look at the order in which all those events occur and see if I can swap it up correctly.

I really don't want to seem like a cry baby but there was also this that seemed a little off.

Your hiding spot is revealed by an infested carrier!
(Changing combat position to Engage)
An infested carrier throws a punch at you! (M: 95 vs D:207)
4 crush damage - to the chest, partially deflected by a lamellar cuirass.
(energy -4)

** An infested carrier falls unconscious!

hide
You can't do that now! You're under attack!

Thanks for these fixes.
Whenever the pressure of our complex city life thins my blood and numbs my brain, I seek relief in the trail; and when I hear the coyote wailing to the yellow dawn, my cares fall from me - I am happy.
