if a Infirmary is empty and you have a task i think the Infirmary fills up wether there are people in there or not until there are enough people to finish the task. when an npc monk comes in there is a steady stream of people that come to get healed often when I'm just making a visit over in the Infirmary it often gets empty while people eventually come in, when the npc monk is in, its never empty unless both of us are healing even then its less time than when its just me. also the npc monks can last a lot longer with 3 channels than i can but that might make sense because there older. anyway what i'm suggesting is a way to let the town no there is a monk coming into town to heal. there would likely be a cooldown either time based or town based so players won't stay in the same town for ever. maby it would be togglable. thauts?

So what you're asking for is an unlimited source of skill gain?
EDIT: I say this because it was originally this way back when I was a monk and the skill gain was insane. Because of this, it was limited pretty quickly.

no. i'm just saying if npc monks get people in infermories why not pcs to?
