Would be pretty neat if people could write a note on some parchment, bark, whatever, and if they're in a room with some foliage/forested, be able to take a knife and pin the note to a tree.

All this would do, give them a longer janitor life. Instead of a few minutes, maybe half an hour, to an hour. Nothing drastic. People could also remove the knife used to pin it, making the note retrievable or leaving it on the floor with its old janitor life back.

Awesomely, be pretty cool to have it done to doors and other wooden objects, but I figure that would require a lot more flags put in place compared to just wood/foliage room checks.

this seems like people would waste a knife doing so, why not just carve on a tree, and since there're hundred trees per area, when people search for it, sometime they find it? That's pretty neat. Also, I'd thum another request of being able to attach a note to an arrow and fire or may be a new command to send the note to another direction. It was really common back in the ancient time. Also, being to write or paint on the door would be nice too
