Currently, the bar cutters in the blacksmith workyards have only one setting: to cut metal bars exactly in half.
When dealing with unmeltable substances like bloodglass and riversteel, this is problematic when you want to divide a standard 4 pound bar into a three pound bar plus a one pound bar.
I would like to request a new syntax be introduced that would enable the character to slide the bar to one side to cut it into 3/4 and 1/4 portions instead of being stuck with only half and half. Perhaps Pull Cutter Offside or somesuch to produce the cut at the 75% mark.
Or in the absence of this, to be able to mail in the bar to some associate of Wynthor's to be able to get back in the mail a three quarter and one quarter cut, perhaps with a 100 riln fee, that would work too.
Pretty please.

+1000000!!!
It's a giant pain to make a cutless:
put the 4 pound bar in the cutter
cut it in half
take that bar from the cutter and put it in the furnace.
cut the remaining two pound bar in half
take one of the resulting tiny bars from the cutter
put it in the furnace
smelt them together.
I want this suggestion soooooooooo much oh man.
