Cannot drag through portal exits

Post by Barius »

There is no way to drag through any non-directional portal exits. It behaves as follows:

Code: Select all

You prepare to drag Jaster.
(You may stop dragging at any time)

You swim through a hole in the wall.
[Watery Cave South of a Wall] (InWtrCvRk)
Although the light from the south and from a few cracks in the cave ceiling is dim, it reflects from
the clear water making it easier to see than would otherwise be possible without a separate light
source. The current flows from south to north to break against a wall of rock, but judging from the
sound of the flow and the lack of rising depth, it does somehow make it through to the other side.
Beyond discovering how this happens, the only other option is to swim against the current to head
back south.
The area is somewhat noisy.
The water is too deep to stand here.
Obvious exits: south (shallow).

When you say "any portal exits", have you confirmed that you also cannot drag through doors, gates, arches, and other "GO" type portals?

The swim thing is intentional as far as I know. Adventuring in an area that can only be reached through deep swimming has a high level of risk associated with it.
