Returning player

Hey folks: I was on CLOK last year and for no readily apparent reason I wandered away from the game. But I'm coming back! How do you handle long absences ICly? My character's not a member of any guilds yet, but I did interact with a handful of people. Also there's the fact I'm practically a newbie all over again since it's been so long since I played.

Come on in, introduce yourselves, and when people ask tell them you were : wandering in a forest, settled somewhere else for a bit, training in the mountains...(or tell them it's none of their business :D)
