WARMTH command, and warm food/drink bonus

It would be wonderful to have some way of determining the amount of warmth we are enjoying from our equipment, and perhaps other factors. Here is an example of what it might do:

warmth
You are feeling moderately protected from cold weather.
The following items you are wearing are especially warm: A gray wool poncho, a gray wool scarf.
The following items you are wearing are somewhat warm: An oilcloth cloak, some cotton trousers, some cotton socks, some leather shoes.
The following items you are wearing are not very warm: A linen tunic.
The following effects are helping keep you warm: halo (30 sec), warm cider (60 sec), warm stew (120 sec)

While writing this, I also got the idea that warm food and drink might provide a temporary bonus to warding off cold, or perhaps instead speed the process of warming back up.
