How to connect to Irc with Miranda

Step by step instructions for connection to Irc with Miranda:
Note: I am using the preconfigured client from:
Onj1.andrelouis.com/programs. If you do not have this coppy, I cannot provide support if these instructions do not function.

1. If not already open, open Miranda.
2. Press control shift O to open the options dialogue.

4. Tab to the treeview.
5. Down arrow to plugins
6. Tab to the list view
7. Arrow down to Irc.dll and press space to check it. If already checked, please press Ok.
8. Miranda will need to be restarted. Please click ok to allow it to be restarted.
9. Press control shift A to go to the contact list
10. Open the main menu and arrow down to accounts.
11. Tab over to the “add” button and press space. Note that enter closes the manager, so space is needed.
12. Give your account any name you like. I used Clok.
13. Tab to the choose protocol box and arrow down to Irc.
14. Press ok.
15. Shift tab to your accounts list, and arrow down to your newly created account.
16. Tab once to the server combo box and arrow down to freenode. Note: there are a lot of servers, so press F to jump to those beginning with the letter F.
17. Tab to the nick edit box, and type what you wish to be known as.
18. Tab to the alternative nick box and enter a name you wish to be known as in the event that the first one you chose was taken.
19. Tab to the full name email box and enter your email. Yes. Enter an actual email because Freenode will send you a verification email to this address provided you register your nickname with the server.
20. Tab and click ok.
21. Press control shift A to bring up the contact list.
22. Press control shift 1.
23. Miranda may ask you to select the default server. Verify it is set on freenode and click connect.
24. Press control shift A to get to the contacts list.
25. Press enter on server: online clok (or whatever name you gave your account in step 12.
26. If you choose, now would be a great time to register your nickname. Type /msg nickserv register <password> <email> to do so. If you have already done so, type /msg nickserv identify <password> to verify ownership of the nickname you are using.
27. Type /join #clokchat
28. You should hear a tone and the clokchat channel will appear in your contacts list. Press enter on it to interact.
a. Note: if you are unable to tab between the areas of the box, use shift tab.
b. You will have an edit box where you may type messages, a user list box, and a read only edit field that contains the content.
29. Have fun and all that!

This was written for the visually impaired people here, but if you can see they should work fine...just use the mouse!
