Gardening in the central courtyard

Post by Vitello »

(IC) The trader Vitello Varrini has been noticed tending to the withered flowerbeds in the central courtyard. Pulling weeds, removing dead vegatation, sowing seeds, and paying street urchins to regularly water the plants. Talking sometimes of outpost beautification and seeking a group of like minded citizens.

(OOC) May be the beginning of on going rp to get the courtyard blooming. Also an rp tool if you would like to rp with Vitello in the square pm me here or send me a tell.

I really wish it was possible to water those withered roses with the pump. Solaje may not like people, but she likes roses!

You are in a town frequented by roaming flesh golems, animated monstrosities and unholy demons from who knows where and.... you are more concerned that some flowers wilted? Also from an IC perspective, there 'may' be a reason why they are that way and should they be replanted, I will not guarantee that it will not happen again, despite proper gardening.

Well I never said Solaje was a rational character. Fair enough though, she'll just have to get some plants for her own house. If there is an IC reason, houses in Corvus might not be a hospitable environment either?

That depends on a set of mysterious circumstances that I will not reveal here. Some houses may be fine with growing plant life, while others may not. In fact, I know of one corvus house that has a sunroom where many plants are grown.

so mysteeeEEeeEEEeeEErious.

Just because we don't mind walking corpses doesn't mean we don't have a sense of esthetic beauty or appreciate gardening. Maybe we should decorate the undead, nail stuff to em. ;)

Need to start growing tulips out of one's skull.
You also notice the corpse of a canim scavenger (x169).
