Forged Weapons: Hide Hilts/Hafts

Any chance of having the ability to remove the appearance of a weapon's hilt/haft from it's description?

Have it under the customization options perhaps?

Just so you could change..

an exquisite copper longsword with a copper hilt

To..

an exquisite copper longsword

Still need the hilt/haft and everything as per normal to craft the item, just basically changing the short description?
